10/10 food and service! Lovely staff! 100% Best chippy in town!

I only ordered chips and mushy peas. The shop was busy but it took over 20mins to get my food!

Food was made right in time and was perfect

Placed a web order but they forgot to put my order on. Had to ask where my order was. Heard them say they never put it on the fryer. So disorganised

Make sure the lid is on the tubs properly as half the Currys sauce spilt inside the bag!

Ordered a fish supper was extremely small, half the size of all other local chippies, and very small chip portion, not worth the money, it was more the size of a kids portion from other places, wouldn’t fill an adult

Food was nice, fish was way over cooked & was told to be there at 7:55 but was kept waiting until gone 20 past 8! Don’t know how 4 orders can stresss out a chippy

Food was really but they forgot my onion rings. No big deal to be honest.

Couple of new lads on the counter, they fit in very well with the team. Happy, polite, and apologetic for a very short wait. Excellent as always, keep up the great work 👌🏼

They’re not very welcoming to people. Food was a bit greasy but they were freshly cooked

I ordered 5.20pm, said would be ready 5.50pm, stood there for another TWENTY minutes waiting for my food, what’s the point in ordering online to avoid queues when I have FOUR children with me, just to have to wait an extra 20 minutes? It takes 50 minutes to make a chicken fillet supper and 4 kids sausage suppers?! I wouldn’t even expect to stand there for 20 minutes if I hadn’t pre ordered!!! All whilst the girl serving was too busy laughing at trying to pronounce my name instead of apologising for the wait.

Waited an hour and 10 mins after doing an online order for the food!!

They’re not very talkative. Didn’t even say hello just glare.

Food itself is lovely but not going to lie the service is pretty shocking. I'm all for giving kids jobs-I worked in a chippy from age 14-17 but there's no haste or communication between staff. Ordered at 17.10-ready for collection at 17.30-Food wasn't ready until 17.53 and it wasn't particularly busy. You need to be shouting out to the fryer when orders come in so they can put the food on. Heard them say after id been waiting a long time that they had forgotten a haggis and then 5 mins later, forgotten nuggets-which were both in my order, delaying it further. Then we were waiting on chips!! There should be a constant flow of chips for orders, its a chippy! I think only 3 meals went out in the whole time I was waiting there. I'm only saying this as I've worked in a fast paced chippy and would love these kids to succeed. They need guidance and management, never heard the woman frying say a word except go back and forth to the back.

Service is always excellent but I knew it would be busy which is why I ordered online. However it wasn't any quicker- i still ended up waiting 15 mins after my allocated time.

Alot of hard chips. My granny can't eat them because of her teeth. So a large chip often turns into a medium sized portion. The service charge is a bit steep.

Always get great service and great quality food at a reasonable price.
